As the administrator, you can use the Application Virtualization Server Management Console to determine which users can access which applications. You can do this when you import the Sequencer Project (SPRJ) or Open Software Descriptor (OSD) file or at anytime using the application's Properties dialog box. With both methods, use the Access Permissions options to add users.

To grant access to an application
- For an existing application, click the Applications node in the left pane. Right-click an application in the right pane, and choose Properties.
- Select the Access Permissions tab.
- To add user groups, click Add.
- In the Add/Edit User Group dialog box, navigate to the user group. You can also enter the domain and group by typing the information in the respective fields.
- Click OK. You can add other groups with the same pages.
- When the wizard reappears, click OK.Note You must set up your groups in Active Directory Domain Services before you attempt to grant access to applications.
- Exit System Preferences; restart your computer. It will now work great; (that is, unless you accidently quit the word app). You would need to restart your computer. The down and dirty work-around is to proceed with the following: 1. Open this folder: /Users/user name/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office.
- Problems with Apple’s sandbox requirements and Mac Office 2016 with VBA code. In Windows Excel 97-2016 and in Mac Excel 2011 you can open files or save files where you want in almost every folder on your system without warnings or requests for permission. But in Mac Office 2016 Microsoft have to deal with Apple’s sandbox requirements.
Nov 29, 2008 I don't know why, but I went to open a word document and got this instead: 'Word cannot open the document: user does not have access privileges.' I have gone through just about everything from the Microsoft knowledge base, to other forums. I have done just about all I can think of and still get the same problem.
